Yes, international shipping is available to many countries. Shipping cost and delivery time depend on the destination and will be shown during checkout when available.

Buyers are responsible for knowing their local knife laws before ordering. Some countries or regions may restrict the import or carry of knives, so please check your local rules before placing an order.

If you are ordering from outside the EU, your country may charge import duties, taxes, customs charges, or courier handling fees when the package arrives.

These charges are not included in the knife price or shipping cost and are the buyer’s responsibility.

As a rough example, a US customer buying a knife around $200 may be charged additional import costs. Depending on the current customs rules, product classification, courier handling fees, and tariff treatment, this could be a small fee or it could be significantly more.

For some US orders, a realistic rough estimate could be around $50–$100+ in extra charges, but this is only an example and not a guaranteed final amount. The final amount is decided by customs authorities and/or the courier.

If an international order is refused, import charges are not paid, or customs clearance is not completed by the customer, the parcel may be returned, delayed, abandoned, or destroyed by customs or the courier.

If the parcel is returned to SIMOknives in its original condition, a refund may be issued after the item is received back. Original shipping costs, return shipping costs, customs charges, courier fees, payment processing fees, and any other unrecoverable costs may be deducted from the refund where permitted by law.

If the parcel is not returned to SIMOknives, no refund will be issued until the item is recovered.

All SIMOknives are made in Lithuania. Blades, handles, bevels, finishing, sharpening, and sheath fitting are done in small batches with a mix of CNC machining and hand work.

Yes. CNC machining is used where precision and repeatability matter, but grinding, bevel work, fitting, finishing, sharpening, and final inspection are done by hand. Small marks or tiny finish variations can happen and are part of small-batch handmade work.

Returns are handled case by case. The knife must be unused, undamaged, and returned in the same condition it was received.

Custom, modified, used, sharpened, damaged, or carried knives may not be eligible for return.

Shipping costs, customs fees, import duties, courier handling fees, payment processing fees, and other unrecoverable costs are not refunded unless required by law.

Sometimes. Custom work depends on current workload, materials, and whether the request fits the style of knives I make.

Small changes like handle material, sheath setup, or finish may be possible on some batches. Fully custom designs are accepted only when I have time and the project makes sense.

Sheath options depend on the knife and batch. Most listings will clearly state whether the knife comes with Kydex, leather, or another carry setup.

Some knives may have optional carry attachments or color choices. The exact sheath and carry details are listed on each product page.

Many knives are made from stainless or highly corrosion-resistant steels, but stainless does not mean rust-proof.

Keep the knife clean and dry after use. If the knife will be stored for a longer time, a light coat of oil is recommended.

Do not store the knife wet or dirty. Clean and dry it after use, especially after contact with food, sweat, salt water, or acidic materials.

Avoid using the knife as a pry bar, screwdriver, chisel, or throwing tool. A knife is made to cut — abusing it can damage the tip, edge, handle, or sheath.

Some knives are one-off pieces, while others are made in small batches. Even within a batch, small differences in finish, handle texture, color, or sheath fit can exist.

Each product listing shows the exact knife or batch being sold.

Usually knives are sold first come, first served. Reservations may be possible in some cases, but a knife is not guaranteed until payment is completed.

Knives are shipped sharpened and ready to use. If you need advice on maintenance or sharpening, contact me before doing heavy regrinding or sending the knife to someone unfamiliar with the geometry.
